THE FORT McHENRY AWARD PROGRAM IS A PROGRESSIVE CONTACT PROGRAM TO BE
WORKED IN SEQUENCE. APPLICATIONS FOR MULTIPLE PROGRESSIVE UPGRADES SHOULD
INCLUDE THE PROPER NUMBER OF STAMPS AS HIGHER AWARDS MAY INCLUDE A
CERTIFICATE. WORKSHEETS SHOULD INCLUDE CALL, FORT McHENRY NUMBER, POINTS,
DATE OF CONTACT, SEAL NUMBERS FOR UPGRADE APPLYING FOR AND PROOF OF CURRENT

To be worked by those who have attained the FSK award.Record contacts with

CONSTELLATION AWARD: THE FORT McHENRY "WAS" AWARD + 7 pts.
Work a member in each state. 5 DX members may be used as substitutes.

MUST HOLD THE PATRIOT AWARD TO APPLY...
DEFENDER AWARD + 7 pts.
To be worked by those who have attained the PATRIOT award. Record contacts
with 60 members holding the PATRIOT award. NOTE: "W" designators are also
PATRIOTS... Not retroactive prior to Jan 1, 1990. NO WILD CARDS OR
SUBSTITUTES. YOU MUST WORK ALL 60! 2 FCS for certificate. DX $1.00.

OLD GLORY AWARD + 50 pts.
To be worked by those who have attained the DEFENDER award. Record 50
STARS, 7 RED STRIPES and 6 WHITE STRIPES through contacts with Fort
McHenry members. NO WILD CARDS OR SUBSTITUTES. $1.00 and 2 FCS for
certificate. DX $2.00. SASE for number only.
SPECIAL BONUS: 50 Special points will be added to your CORNERSTONE point
total.
STARS 'N STRIPES AWARD + 7 pts.
To be worked by any member. Collect 150 Fort McHenry member contacts.
CONTACTS MUST BE MADE ON OR AFTER SEPTEMBER 1, 1992. A certificate will be
issued. Donation will be $1.00 + 2 FCS. DX $2.00. SASE for number
only.
As an additional bonus, 20 points will be added to your CORNERSTONE point
total. In keeping with the tradition we started with CORNERSTONE, the
$1.00 donation will be donated to the Restoration Fund of the Fort.
$114.00 was donated on April 3, 1995. Total donations to date $326.00.
NOTE: If you are not a member of CORNERSTONE, you may submit all contacts
worked at the time to join.
ORIGINAL THIRTEEN STATES AWARD + 75 pts.
Not an easy upgrade. To be worked by any member. Contact one Fort McHenry
member in each of the ORIGINAL 13 STATES. ALL CONTACTS MUST BE MADE ON OR
AFTER NOVEMBER 1, 1994 AND IN THE ORDER LISTED.IF MORE THAN ONE CONTACT ON
THE SAME DATE, INCLUDE TIMES OF CONTACTS. Send CALL, NAME, FORT MCHENRY
NUMBER, POINTS, DATE OF CONTACT and PROOF OF CURRENT 10-10 DUES. NO
EXCEPTIONS. Worksheets must include ALL the required information or they
will be returned. (The ORIGINAL THIRTEEN: 1-DE, 2-PA, 3-NJ, 4-GA, 5-CT,
6-MA, 7-MD, 8-SC, 9-NH, 10-VA, 11-NY, 12-NC, 13-RI). $1.00 + 2 FCS for
certificate. DX $2.00. Send SASE for number only.
THE W3FQN MEMORIAL AWARD + 82 pts.
To perpetuate the memory of our good friend, loyal Fort McHenry and 10-10
member, this award is created. The 82 points is in honor of Corky's 82
years of longevity. This award to be worked by any Fort McHenry Member.
Contact Fort McHenry members whose callsigns contain a letter or number to
form the words/numbers W3FQN, CORKY, 16842, 43CP (Corky's call, 10-10 and
Fort McHenry numbers). All contacts must be made on or after January 10,
1995. Callsigns may be used only once. Worksheets must contain the
following information: Callsign, Fort McHenry number and date of contact.
Include proof of current 10-10 dues. Send $1.00 + 2 FCS for certificate.
DX $2.00. NO NUMBER ONLY WILL BE ISSUED FOR THIS AWARD.
ACTIVE 10-10 MEMBERSHIP + 5 pts annually.
Send proof of current paid up membership dues and 5 points annually will
be added to your Fort McHenry point total. A one-time SPECIAL BONUS of 25
points will be added for LIFE MEMBERSHIP.
SPECIAL EVENT BONUS + 5 pts.
For attendance at annual events such as Dayton and 10-10 Conventions.

1. Welcome to the Fort McHenry TEN-TEN Chapter and its CORNERSTONE
certificate upgrade program. This award began January 1, 1991 and
symbolizes the "CORNERSTONE" of the FORT. In addition to the usual
information, each submission for this award must include the date of
contact with members and proof of paid up TEN-TEN dues. Please use #10
envelopes for upgrades.

2. To apply for the CORNERSTONE, one must be a member of the Fort McHenry
chapter AND work 10 CORNERSTONE members to include two (2) Charters (C).
Cost of the certificate is U.S. $2.00 + 2 FCS, DX $3.00. $1.00 from each
application will be donated, in the applicants name, to the Fort McHenry
Restoration Fund. When applying for any upgrades, please enclose a SASE
with your application.
By becoming a "CORNERSTONE" member you will help to perpetuate the
Fort McHenry National Monument and Historical Shrine by contributing to the
restoration fund. This shrine of national history will be enjoyed for
generations to come only through the generousity and dedication of its
contributors. Furthermore, your name will be entered into the long list
of contributors and you will be one of the building blocks for the future.
If you so desire, you may contribute any amount above the basic certificate
cost for use by the restoration fund. The Fort McHenry Chapter of
TEN-TEN thanks you for your interest and participation in this endeavor.

3. Suffix letters & point values are: C+15, CL+10, CO & HC +9, HM+8,
DX+7, O+6. Additional suffix & points are: FC+5(DX only), FS (US only), FP
(Canada only) +4.....

4. Upgrade awards: The numerous upgrades which are available to a member
are dependent upon the upgrade held by the applicant in the Fort McHenry
Chapter; numbers will be issued for all upgrades. A member may not apply
for an award higher than the related Ft. McHenry award that they hold. For
example, in order to apply for the CANNON #, you must hold at least the
PATRIOT award in the Ft. McHenry. Upgrades and points are:
UPGRADE MUST HOLD PTS TO SUBMIT ADDED VALUE
FOUNDATION # LIBERTY 200 + 5 PTS
RAMPART # FSK 400 + 5 PTS
BARRACKS # FREEDOM 600 + 5 PTS
CANNON # PATRIOT 800 +10 PTS
BULKHEAD # DEFENDER 1000 +15 PTS
STAR FORT # (WAS) WAS WAS +25 PTS
Above 1000 pts, one (1) point is awarded for every 250 points submitted.
The member must hold the BULKHEAD upgrade to receive these points. Also,
the upgrade numbers will be collectable; some of the future upgrades may be
based on them. The CORNERSTONE WAS requirements will be the same as for
the Fort McHenry Chapter except contacts must have a CORNERSTONE number.
To obtain any upgrade, please submit a SASE with your application. For the
STAR FORT certificate send $1.00 & 2 FCS for US and $2.00 for DX.

SPECIAL: Effective 01 May 1994. Each month find the FSK SPECIALS for an
immediate 10 point upgrade for each one contacted. There are several
worldwide. Include contact information in next upgrade for proper
credit.
